What do we do

Conceptualised in 2024, MataSEA works towards ensuring the nuanced and intersecting experiences of people in Southeast Asia is reflected in the making of a feminist tech future. Our strategy focuses on:

+ Power building through feminist knowledge making

+ Mapping and making visible our voices and labour

+ Cultivating deeper growth and care within our network

+ Reclaiming our power through policy advocacy

Beyond our ambition to build a feminist tech movement in Southeast Asia, MataSEA also embodies our commitment to practice feminist leadership that mirrors the larger world and the feminist future that we want to build.
